Adaptive plant health & weed solutions
Adopt a tree Program
We are on a mission to enhance the health and beauty of The Valley by bringing sick trees back to life when they need it most.
Nominate a beloved tree that is in need of a little help and we’ll nurse it back to the healthiest it has ever been.

brought back to full health in 2 months

Why are we adopting trees?
Healthy trees cool their environment, improve air quality, raise property values and enhance the beauty of our communities.
Each month, Adaptive will “adopt” one Phoenix-area tree for a full year of science-backed care at no cost to the owner or community. We diagnose the issues, eliminate disease and pests, improve soil health and provide proper tree nutrition to bring it back to health.
How it works
How do we care for trees?
Our process is to use plant healthcare best practices and the latest innovations in tree care to address all of the factors that affect the health of a tree. This starts with testing and diagnosing the issues, then continues with a treatment program, which will likely include:
Disease Management
Sustainable solutions to rid trees of harmful or fatal diseases
Soil Enhancement
Testing, analysis, nutrient balancing, enrichment and aeration
Nutrient Program
Custom fertilization and micronutrients for alkaline soils
Tree Pest Control
Ridding the tree of pests like beetles, white flies, chinch bugs and more
Growth regulation
If necessary, reduces stress and enhances overall tree health
Irrigation strategies
Determining the scientifically-appropriate watering schedule
How it works
Submissions for nominated trees will be open from the 1st through the 20th day of the first month of the quarter.
After nominations have been submitted, we will:

Tree Evaluation
We will analyze and evaluate the health and feasibility of the trees to get a full view of the nominee

Tree Selection
Based on our selection criteria detailed above, we will decide on the tree that best fits the program

Announcement
On the last day of the month, we announce the adopted tree and begin care
