Adaptive plant health & weed solutions

Adopt a tree Program

We are on a mission to enhance the health and beauty of The Valley by bringing sick trees back to life when they need it most.

Nominate a beloved tree that is in need of a little help and we’ll nurse it back to the healthiest it has ever been.

brought back to full health in 2 months

Before and after rescuing a sick tree in Phoenix

Why are we adopting trees?

Healthy trees cool their environment, improve air quality, raise property values and enhance the beauty of our communities.

Each month, Adaptive will “adopt” one Phoenix-area tree for a full year of science-backed care at no cost to the owner or community. We diagnose the issues, eliminate disease and pests, improve soil health and provide proper tree nutrition to bring it back to health.

How it works

Any tree that is important to the community and in need of care. This includes:

  • Homes (with owner permission)
  • HOAs and multifamily communities
  • Schools and community centers
  • City/county parks in Maricopa County (with authorization)

When we receive nominations, we will be evaluating trees based on health urgency, community or personal value, feasibility, and geography (to ensure we are covering the whole Valley equally).

We love all trees and our ISA-Certified Arborists have the skillset, tools and technology to care for any type of tree in Arizona. The only criteria is that the tree needs love.

How do we care for trees?

Our process is to use plant healthcare best practices and the latest innovations in tree care to address all of the factors that affect the health of a tree. This starts with testing and diagnosing the issues, then continues with a treatment program, which will likely include:
